Kevin Copping, Iolanthe 2009

Biography

Kevin has appeared on stage throughout his life. His largest role before Uni university was in 1999 aged 12 in Burford School's production of Oliver Twist where he had the lead role of Oliver.

Kevin graduated from Southampton University in 2008 with a honors degree in Biology. Joining LOpSoc late in 2008 he appeared as a Peer in Iolanthe (2009) singing Bass, before leaving Southampton to complete an MSc in Environmental Management at the University of Reading. He then directed the 2011 Lopsoc production of The Mikado in the Nuffield Theatre.

Kevin continued performing in Reading, becoming involved in productions with the Reading University Drama society; various Reading University Film and Theatre student productions; and Progress Theatre where he had a brief tenure as Theatre Manager amongst the many productions he had roles in.

Since then Kevin has become a secondary school science teacher and is raising a family in Gloucestershire.
