Reynolds ([[Stephen Young]]) has journeyed to visit his childhood friend Roderick Usher ([[Owen Perring]]) in his lonely and grim house in the middle of nowhere.  Upon entering, it appears that all is not well with Usher – he seems terribly drawn and pale, and complains of an acuteness of the senses, able to detect even the faintest noise at a great distance, a condition which seems to be slowly eating away at his sanity.  He believes that his ancestral home has some dark power over him, driving him to insanity with some vague and terrible sentience....
Until Reynolds arrives - His only solace is the company of his sister ([[Cara Glover]]), who is also affected by the malaise...
