George Smith

Biography

George moved slowly from being part of our wonderful orchestra for Sweeney Todd 2014 and Iolanthe 2015 to eventually getting in on the madness by being MD for H.M.S. Pinafore 2015. He then joined the veritable mass of fairies for the fairy chorus in Iolanthe 2015 (Harrogate) and tried his luck as bottle dancer and Anatevka's most prominent hat salesman in Fiddler on the Roof 2016. And because once was not enough, he is again one of the MDs in Gondoliers 2016 - hurrah!

In his own words, "Piano and brutal realism are over 50% of me already". George has proven his value as one of the most productive meme generators in LOpSoc, contributing a lot to the infamous and definitely non existing meme gallery of the society. He's a favourite at parties thanks to his special trick - a genetic imbalance has given him the gift of precognition, but only around three specific brands of white rum.
